Kitsilano Farmer's Market :: Sunday July 3rd, 10th and 24th

I am SUPER thrilled to announce some Vancouver Farmer's Market dates!  The Farmer's Market was the exact location that I wanted to set up the Juice Caboose when we first began building our business.  There are 4 markets currently in Vancouver and there is rumour of an additional one being set up in Kerrisdale late season in 2011.  For now, we have 3 dates for the Kits Market in July.  They have decided to extend the market space further around the Kits Community Centre only for the month of July and they gave us a shout knowing we would be more than happy to have a spot there.

Juice Caboose will be serving it up fresh and organic at the following Kitsilano Markets:

Sunday July 3rd
Sunday July 10th and
Sunday July 24th

We have a couple more market dates for August and September at other Van Markets and will post those soon!

pop a wheelie

Rain did not stop us nor the many cycling enthusiasts that came down to the Olympic Village to check out MEC's Bikefest on Saturday.  It was another great event to be a part of.  We tried out our first CODEWORD special.  If you like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter you are privy to the CODEWORD specials when they do come up.  On Saturday anyone that knew the CODEWORD enjoyed $1 off their regular priced juice or smoothie.  We look forward to creating more CODEWORDS and of course, my favourite part of the Juice Caboose - creating the $5 Feature smoothie.

Our next event is coming up this Friday July 1st for Canada Day at Canada Place.  There are lots of cool things to get up to if you check out the website.  If I wasn't at Juice Caboose I would be at the outdoor yoga on the Pacific Terrace or with my son in the Harbor Green Park where there are children's activities and of course, I would follow either up with a delicious, organic, dairy and gluten free smoothie at JC.  We hope to see you there!  Rain or shine (preferably shine!)

cloudy and car free

Another big thank you to all the friends and new friends of Juice Caboose that came out to support us at the West End Car Free Day on Father's Day.  The overcast weather gave us a great chance to get out of the "Juice Cave" to mingle more with the event comers, answer questions and do some sampling.  We hope all the Papa's out there had a wonderful day of celebration in their honour.

Next event is this Saturday, June 25th in the Village at False Creek with the MEC Bike Fest.  We will post all the details shortly.  You can always like our Facebook Page or follow us on Twitter for the most up to date event details, special offerings and the inside squeeze on all things Juice Caboose!

we sure do love vancouver

Another successful event for the Juice Caboose yesterday at Love Vancouver, Love Your Planet.  We managed to sell out of everything!  We even had an honourable mention.  Since this event was an eco fair, vendors were judged and awarded on their commitment to the environment.  Juice Caboose was the runner up for the Rising Star Award!  We were so flattered.

Thank you so much to Rachel, the organizer and all the volunteers that made yesterday happen.  Thank you to every person that bought and juice or smoothie and our first return customer, our friend Heather.  Thank you to my hubby Jeff,  the Drunken Handyman who did some major handyman, electrical work in the morning which without it we would have not been selling anything yesterday (literally!)  And a big thank you to Wendy and Keona who took especially special care of our little one while we were out quenching Vancouver's thirst!

Our next few booked events inlude:

West End Car Free Day on Sunday June 19th

Canada Day at Canada Place on Friday July 1st

Vancouver Folk Fest the weekend of July 15, 16 and 17th
